Ginger Elixir to Jump Start Your Digestive System

A Ginger Elixir can jump start your sluggish digestive system! Take 1-ounce of fresh Ginger Elixir before lunch and dinner to kindle your digestive fire.

1 3-4″ piece of unpeeled, fresh ginger root
4-6 Lemons
1 Cup Purified Water
3/4 cup Organic Honey
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Ginger root, lemons and honey for your Ginger Elixir

Cut the unpeeled ginger into 1/2-inch pieces. Using a powerful juicer, push the ginger through the juicer. Juice enough to make 1 Cup of Ginger juice. In a citrus juicer, juice the lemons to make 1 Cup of Lemon juice. Combine the juices in a large bowl. With a wire whisk, mix the water, honey and black pepper into your juice mixture. Whisk until well blended.

Store in a pitcher or a glass jar in the refrigerator.
