Many years ago I came across the Money Frog in China Town.  I was told when you place it by the front door of your home or office it will bring you money and your space will be filled with abundance.  However, when I got home I was unsure as to where to place it.  Should the frog face the door or have it’s back to the door? Should the frog be inside or outside the door facing in or out?  I did some research and found that everyone had different opinions and philosophies on the subject. 

This is what I am currently doing with my Money Frog (respectively acknowledging that there are other placements that are equally as powerful and effective)… I have placed my Money Frog slightly off the floor on the first step of a staircase with its back to me as I enter.  My thinking is that prosperity is coming into the house. However, in the past I have also placed the frog facing the door with the thought that it will go out into the world and collect money to bring back. 

As I write this I feel for me it’s a talisman of prosperity that I acknowledge when I enter my home.  When I see it an affirmation goes off in my mind -prosperity enters my home easy and effortlessly.  I like my money frog, it makes me smile when I see it.

A few other opinions…
Feng Shui Expert Lilian Too suggests the following placement for the money frog…

• Place it near the front door, positioned in lower level but not on the ground.
• Or place it at one of the corners of the house (diagonal corner is the best), mouth facing the main door

Fengshuicrazy.com suggests the money frog be placed specifically in the corner which is diagonally opposite to the entrance door. This place is ideal since corners are a place where chi concentrates and therefore they are a strategic spot for the chi flow of the room. This way, the king money frog would receive a direct influence and strength given by the concentration of chi energy.

In the end, place your money frog where you feel the energy is best, use it as a reminder of the prosperity and good fortune you wish to come into your home.
