Color Inspiration - The Northern Lights - 03/23/2011

In recent news there were stories of the sun releasing a major solar storm so powerful that the dazzling northern lights could be visible from northern states in the US.  The Northern Lights are a phenomenon created when particles from this sun storm interact with the earth’ magnetic field and atmosphere.

I recently came across photos of the northern lights that helped inspire some of the colors used in Energy Muse pieces.  Color is a powerful source of inspiration, when I see the colors of the northern lights I am in constant awe of the beauty in nature.  The Colors fill the sky with an energy of pure celebration and joy.  I have looked at this picture endless times, and every time I see it I smile.  The sky dances with life and movement as the sun is about to set into the darkness of the night awaiting a new day to begin.
